Characterizations of quasi-metric completeness in terms of Kannan-type xed point theorems

Abstract

We obtain quasi-metric versions of Kannan's xed point theorem forself-mappings and multivalued mappings, respectively, which are usedto deduce characterizations of d-sequentially complete and of left Ksequentiallycomplete quasi-metric spaces, respectively.
