Abstract

Vestibuloplasty is one of the operations that can be performed in complete denture using patients with tissue - denture disruption as a result of vestibule sulcus sealing. In our study, two groups of patients, each group including 10 was operated by Clark vestibuloplasty and the secondary epitelization regions were covered with solvent preserved dura mater in the first group and palatal mucosa in the second group. Alveolar mucosa and graft blood flow were measured by 133Xe method preoperatively, postoperatively 7th and postoperatively 30th days and all the datas were compared statistically, In the dura group, time versus blood flow change were significant with p0.05. As a conclusion, we are of the opinion that, two of the grafts are suitable materials for the patients undergoing vestibuloplasty procedures.
