Özet

Amaç: İki alkalin peroksit iÇerikli kimyasal temizleyici ajanIn, iki farklı marka akrilik rezin dişin yüzey sertliği üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: iki alkalin peroksit esasli temizleme ajani (Steradent ve Corega Tabs) ve iki akrilik rezin diş (Eray ve Majordent) kullanıldı. Her iki markadan 15'er adet diş biri kontrol olacak şekilde 3 gruba ayrıldı. Kontrol grupları distile suda, diğer gruplar temizleyici ajanlar içinde bir hafta, üç ay ve bir yıllık kullanıma karşılık gelen sürelerde bekletildi ve Brinell sertlik testi uygulandi. Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effects of two alkaline peroxide based denture cleansers on the surface hardness of two different acrylic resin teeth. Material and Methods: Two alkaline peroxide based denture cleansers (Steradent and Corega Tabs) and two different acrylic resin teeth (Eray and Majordent) were used in this study. 15 teeth from each brand were divided into three groups and one of them was used as control. Control groups were immersed in distilled water and the others were immersed in denture cleansers for different period of times to simulate the one week, three months and one year usage.
