Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı gömülü yirmi yaş dişi cerrahisinde yaş, cinsiyet, daha önce geçirilmiş operasyon tecrübeleri, anksiyete düzeyleri ve operasyon süresinin hastaların operasyon ve postoperatif iyileşme dönemi beklentilerine olan etkilerini belirlemektir. Bireyler ve Yöntem: Gömülü yirmi yaş dişi çekim endikasyonu konulmuş 303 hastanın ayrıntılı anamnezleri kaydedilerek operasyon öncesi ve iyileşme döneminde verilen formları doldurarak intraoperatif ve postoperatif dönemi beklentileri doğrultusunda değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Hastaların operasyon öncesi anksiyeteleri VAS (visual analog scale) kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Bulgular: Yapılan istatistiksel analizler sonucunda, çalışmaya dahil edilen hasta grubunda operasyon süresi, VAS ve geçirilmiş cerrahi tecrübelerin hastaların operasyon değerlendirmelerinde etkili olduğu, iyileşme döneminde ise, cinsiyet ve operasyon tecrübelerinin hasta beklentilerini farklılaştırdığı bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Hastaların gömülü yirmi yaş dişi operasyonları ve iyileşme dönemleri hakkındaki beklentileri hastaya, hekime ve operasyona bağlı birçok faktörden önemli ölçüde etkilenmektedir.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the study is the investigate the effects age, sex, anxiety, surgery experience and operation time factors on patient's expectation about intraoperative and postoperative period. Patients and Methods: The anamnesis of 303 patients with impacted third molar extraction indication was recorded and they requested to answer the preoperative and postoperative questionnaire forms according to their expectations from the operation and the healing period. The operation time recorded and patient2s anxiety was measured with VAS (visual analog scale). Results: Statistical analysis showed that the operation time, VAS values and surgery experience were effected the patient's expectations from the impacted third molar operations. For the healing period patient's prospects, sex and the operation experiences was found effective. Conclusion: The patient's expectations about the impacted third molar operations and postoperative healing period were strongly effected from the patient, surgeron and operation variables.
