Özet
Distraksiyon osteogenez, aşamalı traksiyon tekniği ile birbirinden dereceli olarak ayrılan kemik segmentleri arasında meydana gelen yeni kemik formasyonuna ait biyolojik bir olaydır. Mevcut derleme yazısında, tıpta birçok kullanım endikasyonuna sahip bu tedavinin, dişhekimliğindeki uygulamaları üzerinde ayrıntılı biçimde durulmaktadır. Genellikle dental distraksiyon tedavileri alveoler ve ortodontik yaklaşımlar olmak üzere iki biçimdedir ve makalede de bu iki nokta üzerine yoğunlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca tedavinin avantaj ve dezavantajları, yaşanabilecek komplikasyonlar ve bu komplikasyonlardan korunma yolları, başarı kriterleri ile kullanılan aperey tipleri ve tedavinin çevre dokular üzerindeki etkileri de yazının konusunu oluşturmaktadır.
Abstract
Distraction osteogenesis is the biologic process of new bone formation between bone segments gradually seperated by incremental traction. Distraction osteogenesis, which has a wide using area in medical problems, is evaluated about its dental use in this article. Usually, dental distraction techniques are two groups of alveolar and orthodontic approaches and this review has been intensified on these two points. Advantages or disadvantages of the therapy, probable complications and avoidance from these problems, success criteria, types of devices and the influence on the enviromental tissues are the other subjects of this composition.
