Abstract
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of accelerated aging on the color stability of three auto polymerizing (Flexacryl soft, Coe-soft, Viscogel) and one heat polymerizing (Vertex-soft) soft liners by using the spectrophotometer. Materials and Method: Twelve disc-shaped specimens (10 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness) were fabricated for each material, six specimens were stored in distilled water as control group and the remaining six specimens were weathered in accelerated aging chamber. Color measurements of the specimens were made before and after distilled water and aging. Data were statistically analyzed using nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results: Results showed that the discoloration occurred after aging was significant when compared to the control specimens stored in dw. Significant differences among materials (except Viscogel and Coe soft) both after distilled water (H = 10.247; p = 0.017) and aging treatments (H = 19.547; p
