Özet

Biyolojik ve mekaniksel özellikleri daha iyi bir materyalden oluşturulmuş restorasyonların tek tedavi seansında tamamlanarak hastaya teslim edilmesi düşüncesi klinik CAD/CAM indirekt restoratif uygulamaların başlangıcı olmuştur. Teknolojideki hızlı değişikliklerle birlikte uygulanan restorasyonların uzun dönem başarılı sonuçları CAD/CAM teknolojisini güncel klinik uygulama pratiğine taşımıştır. Bu çalışmada, klinik CAD/CAM indirekt restoratif işlemlerde halen tek olan Cerec Sistemi uygulama prensipleri anlatılmıştır.

Abstract

The concept of fabricating restorations from materials with better biological and mechanical properties initiated the idea of chair-side CAD/CAM indirect restoration in a single appointment. Excellent progress with the technology, coupled with high success rates in the long term have enabled the use of CAD/ CAM technology in routine dental practice. In this study, fundamental principles of the chair-side CAD/ CAM system, namely the Cerec system, are presented along with a variety of clinical cases.
