Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı aşağıda belirtilen üç temel sonuç esas alınarak, C[a,b]'de göz önüne alınan B. Jessen ve buna uygun Jensen eşitsizliklerinin belirli bir genelleme ile denk olduklarını göstermektir. Bu denklik özelliği, pozitif lineer operatörler tarafından oluşturulan yaklaşıklık teorisindeki konveksite ve konveksiteyi koruyan operatörlerin önemini vurgulamaktadır.

Abstract

The aim of the this paper is to show that the three following mentioned basic results and a certain generalization of Jensen's inequality due to B. Jessen considered in C[a,b] are equivalent. This equivalence property emphasizes the role of convexity and of convexity-preserving operators in the theory of approximation by positive linear operators.
