Eşit olasılıklı aralıklara ayrılmış olan gözlem kümesine ait bir sürekli dağılıma ilişkin uyum iyiliği testi problemi düşünülmüş, grup sayısı sonsuza yaklaştığındaki durum incelenmiştir. Simetrik testlerin Pitman ve Intermediate etkinlikleri araştırılmıştır. Burada bu etkinliklerin aynı fonksiyon ile ifade edildikleri gösterilmiştir. Bazı önemli testler için bu fonksiyonun değerleri verilmiştir.
Abstract
The problem of testing the goodness of fit of a continous distribution to a set of observations grouped into equiprobable intervals is considered. The case when the number of groups tends to infinity as the number of observations increases is considered. Pitman's and Intermediate efficiences of the symmetrical test are investigated. We show that these efficiencies are characterized by the same function. For several important tests this function is tabulated.
