Abstract
After the great depression, nations have set centralized policies and plans aside, lean to regional policies and plans which focus on social and economic differences at the national level and improve new specialized development axis and models for regions and provinces. The cluster-based development approach as one of those development models vary from others and seems to come forward in recent years. Its suitable structure for clustering as well as the externalities that arise from clustering such as; specialization, collaboration, synergy and innovation, equestrian tourism provides significant contributions to regional development. Moreover, it provides an option to eliminate the negative effects of seasonality by practicing whole year and being one of product diversification efforts in tourism sector. With this context, the aim of the study is to investigate whether the equestrian tourism facilities in central villages of Kastamonu Province and Daday District is an emerging cluster or not and to determine that is there a preferential demand for equestrian tourism. By a hybrid model consisting of both qualitative and quantitative research methods whether agglomeration of equestrian tourism facilities in central villages of Kastamonu Province and Daday District is emerging cluster or not has been questioned. The results of the study show that agglomeration of equestrian tourism facilities in central villages of Kastamonu Province and Daday District is an emerging cluster
