Özet

Doğu Akdeniz kıyı çizgisine yakın sığ bölgelerdeki (7-20 m) on istasyondan güncel tortullarda 23 familyaya ait 41 cins ve 60 tür tayin edilmiştir. Baskın familyalar olarak Rotaliidae ve Miliolidae gözlenmiştir. Ayrıca, bölgede sığ su karakteristiği olan kalker kavkılı dört foraminifer topluluğu saptanmıştır.

Abstract

Ten sediment samples were collected from the shallow environments (7-20 m.) of the Eastern Mediterranean coastline. 41 genera and 60 species belonging to 23 families were identified from these samples. The dominant families are Rotaliidae and Miliolidae. In addition, four foraminiferal assemblages, characteristic of shallow marine and carbonate species, were described in the region.
