Özet

Bu araştırmada İstanbul ve yakın çevresinde çeşitli mühendislik çalışmaları nedeniyle karada ve denizde yapılmış olan 47 sondajdan derlenen 402 örneğin foraminifer içeriği belirlenerek, Holosen dönemine ait 62 cins ve 135 tür tayin edilmiştir.

Abstract

47 drill-holes were done on the land and sea bottom for the purpose of the various engineering projects in Istanbul and surrounding area. 402 samples were obtained from these drill-holes. The foraminiferal assemblage (62 genera and 135 species) of the study area belonging to Holocene stage had been described from these samples.
