Some factors influencing the gold recovery by oil agglomeration

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, İzmir/Karşıyaka-Arapdağı epitermal altın yatağının yağ aglomerasyonu ile altın kazanım imkanlarını araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla, Arapdağı altın yatağının tüvenan cevher stoğundan alınan örneklerle deneysel çalışmalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmalarda, özel olarak yeniden imal edilen laboratuar tipi flotasyon selülü dizayn edilmiştir. Yağ flatosyonu ve yağ aglomerasyon testleri, laboratuar şartlarında yapılarak, elde edilen konsantre şekillerle kıyaslanmaktadır. Laboratuar çalışmalarının sonuçları, aglomerasyon ve flotasyon proseslerinin kombinasyonu kullanılarak, Arapdağı cevherinden altının verimli bir şekilde kazanılabildiğini göstermiştir. Bu tip altın cevheri yağ aglomerasyonu ile elde edilen konsantre ürünlerden altın cevheri üretimi daha kolay ve daha temiz olacaktır.

Abstract

The aim of study is to investigate the gold recovery possibilities of Izmir/Karşıyaka - Arapdağı epithermal gold deposit by oil agglomeration. On this aim with the samples taken from Arapdağı gold deposit run-of-mine ore stock experimental studies were carried out. In the expenimental studies laboratory sub-aeration cell which is designed and reconstructed specially. Oil flotation and oil agglomeration tests showed in figures were compared the concentrate which obtained at the laboratory conditions. Results of laboratory studies showed that gold can be effectively recovered from the Arapdağı ore using a combination of agglomeration and flotation processes. This type of gold ore is most suitable for oil agglomeration. However this process will be easier and cleaner the production of gold ore from the concentrate product obtained by the oil agglomeration.
