Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi Turizm Arz ve Talep Özellikleri

Özet

Bu makalede Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi turizminin arz ve talep özellikleri tartışılmaya çalışılmıştır. Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi sosyo-kültürel yapısının bir yansıması biçiminde kabul edilen pazara açılamama ve ülke ekonomisiyle bütünleşememe gibi sorunları bulunan bir bölgedir. Geleneksel aile yapısının hakim olduğu bölgede iç göç hareketinin yoğunluğu, işsizlik ve gelir dağılımındaki bozukluk bölgeye ait problemleri daha da artırmaktadır. Belirtilen yapısal sorunların çözümü uzun dönemlidir. Kısa dönemde ise bölgenin tarihsel ve kültürel çekiciliklerinden hareketle turizm faaliyetlerinin genişletilmesi ve desteklenmesinin özellikle istihdam ve gelir dağılımı üzerine olumlu etkiler yapması beklenebilir. Ancak,bu beklentilerin gerçekleşmesi bölgeye yönelik iç turistik faaliyetlerin desteklenmesi ve turizm arzına ait altyapının geliştirilmesini zorunlu kılmaktadır.

Abstract

This paper attempts to discuss supply and demand characteristics of the touristic operations in the South East Anatolia. Due to the different social and cultural structure, the area have the problems of not having acces to the markets and the diffuculty of integration to the national economy. Traditional family structure, intensive internal migration, unemployment and badly distributed income excellerate the existing problems. The outlined structural problems can only have solutions in the long run. However, in the short run, with the aid of the cultural and historical attractiveness of the area, the enlargement and better support of touristic operations can improve employment and income distribution.
