Atatürk'ün Eğitim ile İlgili Görüş ve Uygulamalarına Toplu Bir Bakış

Özet

Bu makalede; ilk olarak Atatürk’ün eğitim ile ilgili görüşlerinden bahsedilmiştir. ikinci olarak; bu görüşlere uygun bir biçimde, Atatürk’ün, Yeni Türk Eğitim Sistemini oluşturmak için yaptığı çalışmalar anlatılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, özellikle o dönemdeki eğitimimizin durumunun tespiti ile yeni sistemin hangi amaca dönük olarak yapılanması gerektiği hususu ve yeni eğitim programının içeriği vurgulanmış tır. Daha sonra; eğitimin temel hedefleri ortaya konulmuş ve bu hedeflere ulaşmak için yapılan teorik ve uygulamadaki çalışmalara de inilmiştir. En sonunda da hem bu hedefleri gerçekleştirmek için, hem de modern Türk eğitiminin bir gereği olarak, Atatürk tarafından belirlenmiş olan eğitimimizin ilkeleri sıralanarak, bunlar hakkında teorikte ve uygulamada neler yapıldığına dair bilgiler verilmiştir.

Abstract

In this article, first of all the ideas of Atatürk about education has been discussed. Secondly; the work that was carried out by Atatürk to establish the New Turkish Education System was mentioned harmoniously with these ideas. To that end, especially the determination of the status of education in that period and the matter of the objectives for the new system’s establishment and also the content of the new education programme have been emphasized. Afterwards, the basic aims of the education were introduced and the theoretical and practical activities were mentioned. Lastly, as a necessity for the modern Turkish education and in order to realize these aims, the principles of our education that were determined by Atatürk have been listed in order and the information related with the theoretical and practical works that have been carried out was given.
