Özet

Uçuş trafiği gürültüsü, çevresel gürültü kirliliğine katkıda bulunan en önemli kaynaklardan biridir. Bu yüzden yeni havalimanlarının planlanması ve mevcut havalimanlarının çevresel etkilerinin değerlendirilmesi çalışmalarında, havalimanı çevresinde oluşan gürültü seviyesi dağılımının belirlenmesi kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Bu makalede bir pilot çalışma olarak İzmir Adnan Menderes Havalimanı'nın neden olduğu gürültünün çevresel etkisi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Mevcut durum 1996 istatistikleri yardımıyla ortaya konulmuş, toplanılan veriler, uluslararası kabule sahip INM 5.1 (Integrated Noise Model) yazılımı yardımıyla değerlendirilerek gürültü kirliliğinin boyutu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca mevcut pistin tam kapasitede kullanılması sonucunda oluşacak gürültü kirliliği tahmin edilmiş ve gelecek için alınması gereken önlemler dikkate sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Aviation noise is one of the most important contributors to environmental noise pollution. Determination of noise level distributions around airports has become indispensable in studies for planning of new airports as well as for environmental evaluation of the existing ones. In this article, the environmental noise pollution caused by the İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport is investigated with the help of Integrated Noise Model (INM 5.1) by using statistical data of previous years. A prediction is made for the noise pollution distribution resulting from full capacity usage of the airport. Measures are given to reduce the effect of aviation noise on the nearby residential areas.
