Her iki taksonun yağ asidi bileşimi Laurik asit dışında aynı bulunmuş, fakat aralarında oldukça yüksek kantitatif farklılıklar saptanmıştır. Linoleik asit her iki türde en fazla bulunan bileşendir Doymamış yağ asiti miktarı doymuş yağ asidi bileşenlerinkinden fazla bulunmuştur. İki tür arasındaki kemotaksonomik ilişkiler tartışılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, two natural Astragalus (Fabaceae) species were investigated in view of chemotaxonomy. Seed fatty acid compositions of Astragalus pycnocephalus and Astragalus condensatus belonging to Rhacophorus Bunge and Pterophorus Bunge sections were determined. In the result, seven fatty acid were determined in Astragalus pycnocephalus and eight tatty acid components were determined as main compound in Astragalus condensatus. Fatty acid composition of both taxa were found as same except lauric acid, but highly quantitative differences were determined between them. Linoleic acid, was the most abundant component in both species. The unsaturated fatty acid quantity was found higher than saturated fatty acid components. Chemotaxonomic relationships between two species were discussed.
