Odontojenik kisti taklit eden kistik ameloblastoma (Bir olgu bildirimi)

Özet

Ameloblastoma lokal agresif özellik gösteren, benign epitelial odontojenik tümördür. Üç farklı tip ameloblastomadan biri olan kistik ameloblastoma sıklıkla dentigeröz kistten, nadir olarak da diğer odontojenik kistlerden köken almaktadır. Genellikle de mandibulanm posterior bölgesinde görülmektedir. Bu olgu raporunda, mandibulanm en nadir görülen bölgesinde, periapikal (radiküler) kistten köken aldığı ve neoplastik transformasyona uğradığı düşünülen bir kistik ameloblastoma vakasının klinik, radyolojik, histopatolojik bulguları ve tedavisi sunulmaktadır.

Abstract

Ameloblastoma is an aggressive, benign epithelial odontogenic tumor, which has three clinical types. Cystic ameloblastoma is originated mostly from dentigerous cyst and rarely from other odontogenic cysts and it is generally seen in the posterior region of the mandible. In this article, a case of cystic ameloblastoma, which is thought to be transformed neoplastically from a periapical (radiculer) cyst in the most rarely seen region of the mandible, is presented through the clinic, radiographic, histopathologic findings and its treatment.
