Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı diş hekimliğinde ve özellikle endodonti alanında kullanılan büyütme ve aydınlatma araçları konusunda bilgi vermektir.Makalede 'görsel algı'nın tarihi gelişimi ve güncel teorileri, insan gözünün sınırları ve diş hekimliğinde 'geliştirilmiş görme' hakkında bilgisunulmuştur. Makalede ayrıca güncel endodontide büyütme ve aydınlatma araçları olarak kullanılan büyüteç ve operasyon mikroskopları hakkındaayrıntılı bilgi verilmiştir. Bunlara ek olarak bu cihazların kullanımının fayda ve olası zararları da tartışılmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to give information about the devices which used to magnify and illuminate the operative field in dentistry and especiallyin Endodontics. It was given information about the history and contemporary theories about 'Visual Perception', the limits of the human eye, theimportance of 'visual enhancement'in dentistry. It was also given detailed information about; dental loupes and operation microscopes which usedin contemporary endodontics as the magnification and illumination devices. In addition the benefits and possible risks of using those devices werediscussed.
