Amaç: İkinci trimester medikal abortus için henüz ideal bir metod bulunmaması nedeni ile çalışmamızda ethacridine laktat ve misoprostol'ü oksitosin infilzyonu ile kombine ederek ve tek baslarına metodların etkinliğini ve emniyetini karşılaştırdık. Methodlar: Bu çalışma 1996-1999 yıllan arasında iki merkezde 168 ikinci trimester medikal abortus olgusunda yapıldı. Abstract

Purpose: : The ideal method for second-trimester termination has yet to be defined. In. this study, our goal is to compare ethacridine lactate and misoprostol with or without oxytoein infusion in second trimester medical abortion cases. Methods: This prospective study vas performed on 168 women requiring second trimester medical abortions between 1996 and 1999 in two centers. Patients were randomly assigned to ethacridine lactate group (n=34), misoprostol group (n=40), ethacridine lactate combined with oxytoein infusion group (n-46) or. misoprostol combined with oxytoein infusion group (n=48).
