Özet

Spontan pnömomediastinum, herhangi bir tetikleyici sebep olmaksızın mediasten içinde hava bulunmasıdır. Oldukça nadir görülen, iyi huylu ve genellikle kendisini sınırlayan bir durumdur. Acil servise boğazda takılma hissi ve nefes darlığı şikayetleri ile başvuran ve spontan pnömomediastinum tanısı alan bir olgu sunulmuştur. Olgu konservatif tedavi ile sorunsuz iyileşmiştir. Spontan pnömomediastinum şüphesi olan olguların tanısı için dikkatli bir fizik muayene ve radyolojik değerlendirme çok önemlidir. Hastaların olası komplikasyonlar açısından yakın takibi gerekir

Abstract

Spontaneous pneumomediastinum, without any triggering factor is described as presentation of air in the mediastinum and this is a benign, uncommon and generally self limiting condition. Admitted to the emergency department the feeling of congestion in the throat and dsypnea complaints, which present a case with the diagnosis of spontaneous pneumomediastinum. She was managed conservatively and recovered uneventfully. Careful physical examination and radiologic evaluation are very important in making the diagnosis of spontaneous pneumomediastinum. A close follow-up is needed to avoid from possible complications
