Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, eğitim bilimleri enstitüsünde eğitim almakta olan öğrencilerin öğretim elemanlarına, danışmana, lisansüstü eğitim sürecine, fiziksel koşullara, yöneticilere yönelik memnuniyetlerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre değişiminin incelenmesidir. Ayrıca lisansüstü eğitim akademik edinim, bireysel ve sosyal fayda ile iş hayatına katkı açısından da incelenmiştir. Araştırma, betimsel tarama deseninde yürütülmüş; araştırma verileri, 364 lisansüstü eğitim öğrencisinden, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ölçeklerle elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın başlıca sonuçları, akademisyenlerin lisansüstü eğitimden beklentilerinin diğer meslek gruplarından yüksek olduğu; doktora öğrencilerinin akademik edinimlerinin, yüksek lisans öğrencilerinden daha yüksek olduğu ve eğitim programının bireysel ve sosyal fayda ile iş hayatına katkıyı etkilemediği yönündedir. Metin içinde daha ayrıntılı bulgulara yer verilmiş ve bulgulara dayalı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the satisfaction of students being educated in institution of educational sciences with instructors, advisors, managers, the graduate education process, and the physical conditions according to various variables. In addition, graduate education was investigated in terms of academic attainment, personal and social benefits and contribution to the business/commercial life. Within this scope, the research was conducted with a descriptive survey pattern and the research data were collected with scales developed by researchers from 364 graduate education students. Main results of the study are as follows: expectations of the academicians from graduate education are higher when compared to the other occupational groups, academic attainments of the doctoral students are higher than the master students' and graduate programs do not affect individual and social benefits and contribution to professional life. Detailed findings are included in the text and recommendations based on the findings are given.
