Özet

Cinsellik, doğumdan ölüme kadar devam etmekte ve kişiliğin önemli parçasını oluşturmaktadır. Okul öncesi dönemdeki çocuklar, kendilerinin ve başkalarının bedenleriyle ilgili her konuda meraklıdırlar. Çocukların bilişsel olarak gelişmeleri, kendisini tanımaya yönelik soru sormalarını sağlamaktadır. Bu nedenle bu dönemin iyi değerlendirilmesi ve cinsel eğitimin sağlıklı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu görüşten hareketle MEB (2013) Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programında yer alan açıklama, gelişim özellikleri ve kazandırılması hedeflenen kazanım ve göstergeler içerisinde cinsel gelişimin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılan bu çalışma betimsel türdedir. Çalışmada veri toplamak amacıyla doküman analizi yapılmıştır. Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programı kapsamında, okul öncesi eğitiminin temel ilkeleri, gelişim özellikleri, kazanım ve göstergeler, okul öncesi eğitiminin planlanması, uygulanması, değerlendirilmesi bölümleri incelenmiştir. Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programının, öğretmenin eğitim ortamında çocukların gelişim özelliklerine uygun olarak eğitim içeriği ve ortamlarında düzenlemeler yapabileceğine ve uygun koşullarda fırsat eğitimine yer verebileceğine, ayrıca cinsel gelişim eksiklerinin tespit edilip eklenebilecek gösterge ve uygun etkinliklerin programa dâhil edilmesine fırsat tanıdığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu durumda, öğretmenin eğitiminin çocukların potansiyellerine uygun geliştirilmesinde önemli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

Sexuality continues from birth to death and is an important part of the personality. Preschool children are curious about their and others’ bodies. Cognitive development of children generates asking questions to recognize themselves. Therefore, this period should be appreciated well and sexual education should be conducted in a healthy way. Thus, this study is the descriptive kind which is done in order to examine sexual development in terms of the statement, development properties and targeted acquisitions and indicators in the Preschool Education Program of Ministry of Education (2013). A document analysis was conducted to collect data in this study. In Preschool Education Program, basic principles, the development characteristics, acquisitions and indicators sections of preschool education were examined. It has been found that, Preschool Education Program enables teacher to make arrangements in the educational content and environment in accordance with children's development in their training environment and to give place to the opportunity training in appropriate circumstances, and also to include addible indicators and appropriate activities in the program after tracking sexual development deficiencies. In that case, it has been reached to the result of, teacher training is important in the development of children according to their potential.
