Okullarda Sosyal Sermaye ve Örgüt Sağlığı İlişkisi

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı ilkokullarda görev yapan öğretmen algılarına göre, okulun sosyal sermayesi ve örgüt sağlığı arasındaki ilişki düzeyini belirlemektir. Araştırma, betimsel nitelikte ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini Ankara’nın sosyo-ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyi farklı olan üç ilçesinde yer alan okullarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 475 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada okulların sosyal sermaye düzeyini belirlemek için “Sosyal sermaye ölçeği” ile örgüt sağlığı düzeyini belirlemek için “Örgüt sağlığı ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğretmenlerin okulun sosyal sermaye düzeyine ilişkin algılarının “katılıyorum” düzeyinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin okulun örgüt sağlığı düzeyine ilişkin algılarının ise “çoğu zaman” düzeyinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca değişkenler arası orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü ilişkilerin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada okullardaki sosyal sermaye ile örgüt sağlığı düzeyleri benzerlik göstermektedir; okullarda hem etkin ve geliştirilebilen bir sosyal sermaye, hem de sağlıklı bir örgütsel iklimin varlığından söz edilebilir. Okullarda etkin bir sosyal sermaye ve sağlıklı bir atmosferin oluşturulması doğrultusunda sosyal etkinlikler (spor, edebiyat, sanat gibi) zenginleştirilebilir.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the social capital of the school andorganizational health according to the perceptions of teachers working in primary schools. Theresearch is in a descriptive relational screening model. The population of the study consists ofteachers working in schools in three districts of Ankara with different socio-economicdevelopment levels. The sample of the study consists of 475 teachers. In the study, "Social capitalscale" was used to determine the social capital level of schools and "Organizational health scale"was used to determine the organizational health level. According to the findings obtained in theresearch; It was determined that teachers' perceptions of the social capital level of the schoolwere at the level of "I agree". Teachers' perceptions of the organizational health level of theschool were found to be at the level of "most of the time". Social capital and organizational healthlevels in schools are similar; it can be said that there is both an effective and developable socialcapital and a healthy organizational climate in schools. Social activities (such as sports,literature, art) can be enriched in order to create an effective social capital and healthyatmosphere in schools.
