Abstract

The introduction of Bergson’s conception in the turkish literature dates from the beginning of the years 1930, and this with Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınars’s works, in particular his poetry which, beyond a total seizure of the thought of the French philosopher, limits himself to the exclusive perception of his conception of the time implying, through a continuous and unified flow, an intimate and mutual compenetration of the past, present and future, from where intuition of the life as living and really lived duration. This « specific state of conscience » which permits Tanpınar "to consider the past in the light of time present" is marked, or even enriched by some dream susceptible to reach this qualitative and intuitive dimension of the past time which really does’nt have anything to make with the nostalgia of glorious times of the national history.
