Abstract
In this paper we will evaluate J. P. Sartre's concepts of 'human', 'society' and 'humanism' according to his philosophical point of view. Besides being a man of letters, J.P. Sartre is, at the same time, one of the most discussed philosophers of the twentieth centuiy with his views on such basic fields as philosophy, ontology, epistemiology and edıics. In die 20dı century, die common point of departure for a group of philosphers like Sartre was die human and die conditions in which it lives. The relationship between their philosophy and die above-mentioned fields is die problems related widi die human, human life and its place in die world. The most important concepts and diemes diat Sartre emphasizes in die context of human existence are "absurdity", "anxiety", "abandonment and die feeling loneliness", "the autonomy of human freedom ", "transcendence" and "responsibility".Moreover, in die work "Being and Nodiingness" Sartre ontologicallly discusses die human's existence and die human values diat conform to such an existence. One can say diat die problem that Sartre's "cognitive philosophy", existentialism, wants to solve, is to put die 20di century human's understanding of value on a new ediical foundation.
