The Romanian spirituality and the universal values treasure

Abstract

Constantin Mihai has attempted to initiate a new Cartesian understanding, since Descartes’ metaphysics is the unique possibility of connecting the human spirit to the external world. The Cartesian philosophy, marked by solitude is in a certain way the bringing up-to-day of the ideas concerning the human being and the Universe. Thus, God becomes an instrument of knowledge. It is the who triggers “the boom”, since He is the first “spring”. The originality of Constantin Mihai’s work, Descartes. The ontological argument and its symbolic determination, Paris, L’Harmattan, 2007, consists in the participative and emancipator rediscovery, reevaluation and reinterpretation of a profound Romanian thinking treasure, the contribution of Romanian spirituality to the universal values. A spirituality which tests the ability of the philosophy to reshape and, thus, to reinvent the world. Due to the “fight” of the philosophy with the spirit, the dominant feature of all philosophical systems, we are all inhabitants of the Universe, more closed to the essence of the philosophy.
