Abstract

It’s the chronotope ( all the relations concerning time and space) in the science-fiction that is the theme of the present study. The chronotope is very present in the them of traveling through time and space, also in the paradoxes of time and space appearing as it direct consequence. The study we are talking about is doing an analysis of the main forms of paradoxes concerning time and space. As an example we have the paradox of Langevin, the paradox of inversed cause, the paradox of apparition and disappearing of space. Those paradoxes are giving birth to a new vision of time and space that are no longer objective and stable notions, but are becoming dynamic and relative. The paper talks also about the theme of alternative worlds giving, in the best way, of summary of the complexity of correlations concerning time and space. The analyzed texts are classic texts written in French language (P.Boulle, R. Barjavel, G. Klein) and those written in English (H. Ph. Lovecraft, M. R. James).
