Abstract
In postmodern era where a global time-space perception is lived, time-space perception of post modern art also is worth to be investigated. Although history, memory and time-space phenomena are “definite” in the past, it is re-questioned on the basis of “indefinite” future fiction in postmodern case, and representation of “consistently here now”, “neither here nor there”, “both here and there” have formed the main artery of postmodern art. Simulated time-space conceptions caused discussions of synchronicity. The problem is not in the inhibition of only time-space conceptions, at the same time covers a convolution of objective reality, identity and cultural memory. Postmodern paradigms working on receiver are on the way of forming unidirectional (with no strategy) esthetics. These new paradigms have transformed the relation of art work with reality into overlapped main esthetic fiction and even collapsed time-space perception by breaking it from objective time-space dimension. The meaning of art work which formed in definite time-space dimension is totally transformed, lost meaning, cloudy time, spaces produced for consumption and finally a semiotic context passed over the art work. Time-space perceptions and transforming new esthetic paradigms in parallel of it, cannot be separated social dynamics and ideologies. In this article, by staring from time-space perception of postmodern case, the dimension of conflict between the past broken from its ties in postmodern painting, slippery now and hyper active time are discussed from the historic, philosophic and artistic point of views.
