Özet

Bu çalışma, distal radius kırığı sonrası refleks sempatik distrofi (RSD) gelişen hastalarda rehabilitasyon öncesi ve sonrasındaki ağrı düzeyinin kas ve kavrama kuvvetleri üzerine olan etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya RSD tanısıyla başvuran 7'si erkek 17'si kadın olmak üzere toplam 24 hasta alındı. Hastalar fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon programı öncesi ve sonrasında ağrı şiddeti, kas ve kavrama kuvveti açısından değerlendirilip, önceki ve sonraki değerler birbirleri ile karşılaştırıldı. Ayrıca ağrı şiddetinin tedayi öncesi ve sonrası 6. hafta sonundaki değerlerinin, elin kas ve kavrama kuvvetleri ile olan ilişkisi incelendi. Abstract

Purpose: This study was undertaken to investigate the possible effects of pain intensity level on muscle strength and grip strength in patients with reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) related to distal radius fracture before and after rehabilitation. Material and methods: Seven men and 17 women, a total of 24 patients with a diagnosis of RSD were included in the study. The patients were evaluated for pain intensity level, muscle strength and grip strength before and after the physiotherapy and rehabilitation program, and the variables of pre- treatment and post-treatment evaluation were compared with each other. The relationship between pain intensity, hand muscles and grip strength values taken during pre-treatmenf and post-treatment evaluation and at the end of 6 weeks were examined.
