Özet
Amaç: Parkinson hastalarında üst ekstremite performansının değerlendirilmesinde Dokuz DelikliPeg Testi (DDPT) ile Birleştirilmiş Parkinson Hastalığı Değerlendirme Ölçeği”ni (BPHDÖ)karşılaştırmaktı. Gereç ve yöntem: Yaş ortalaması 63.6±10.4 yıl olan, 87 Parkinson hastası(28 K, 59 E) çalışmaya alındı. Hastalık evresi ve semptomlarının şiddeti nörolog tarafındanHoehn-Yahr (H-Y) ölçeği ve BPHDÖ kullanılarak değerlendirildi. DDPT ise fizyoterapistlertarafından yaptırıldı. Abstract
Purpose: To compare the “Nine Hole Peg Test” (NHPT) with “Unified Parkinson’s DiseaseRating Scale” (UPDRS) in the evaluation of upper extremity performance. Materials andmethods: Eighty seven patients with Parkinson’s disease (28 F, 59 M; mean age: 63.6±10.4years) were recruited in the study. The stage of the disease and intensity of the symptomswere assessed by a neurologist using the Hoehn-Yahr (H-Y) scale and UPDRS. The NHPT wasassessed by physiotherapists.
