Özet

1993-1995 yıllan arasında kliniğimizde Thompson protezi ile tedain edilen 32 femur boyun kırıklı hasta çaışmaya alındı. Olguların 22'si bayan (% 69), 10'u erkek (% 31) cerrahi uygulama sırasındaki yaş ortalamaları 70.8 yıl idi. Hastalarımıza tümü cerrahi öncesi dönemde destekli veya desteksiz mobilize olabilmekte idi. Hastalara modifiye Gibson insizyonu ile nompson endoprotezi uygulandı. Takip sonrası olgular,Amerikan Ortopedik Cerrahi Akademisi kriterlerine göre değerlendirildiler. Sonuç 8 olgu çok iyi (% 25) ve 15 olgu iyi (% 47) olarak değerlendirildi.

Abstract

Between 1993-1995, 32patients with çöllüm femoris fractures uvre treated with Thompson prosthesis at our clinic included in this study. 22 (69%) patients were females and 10 (31%) patients were males and mean age at the time of the surgery was 70.8. All the patients could ambulate before the surgery, -with or without any support.Exposing the hip through modified Gibson approach, Thompson prosthesis were inserted to the patients. The follow up evaluation was done according to the American Academia of Orthopaedic Surgery criteria and consequently, 8(25%) excellent and 15(47%) good results were ob-tained.
