Abstract

In this experimental study, AA 6061 with AA 7075 alloys which are the widespread use of with areas such asaeronautics, aerospace and defence industries welded by friction welding. In welding samples were useddifferent rotational speeds and friction pressures. Compounds having different mechanical properties wereobtained. AA 6061 and AA 7075 joined by friction welding to determine the mechanical properties of thematerial to the weld samples, micro-hardness and tensile tests were performed. The resulting cross section of thefrictional connection from the hardness values obtained by tensile tests and the fracture surfaces, scanningelectron microscope (SEM) by examining; fracture type and fracture surface characteristics were examined. As aresult of hardness values associated with the tensile test results. In friction welding parameters with differenthardness values were found to be parallel to the tensile test results.
