Styropor kullanılarak elde edilen hafif betonların fiziksel özelliklerinin deneysel olarak araştırılması

Özet
Bu çalışmada; beton karışımına styropor ilave edilerek elde edilen hafif betonun fiziksel özellikleri deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Araştırma yapılan numuneler, katkısız ağırlığından %10, 20, 30 ve % 40 oranlarında azalma oluşturacak miktarlarda styropor ilave edilerek hazırlanmıştır. Deneyler ilgili Türk Standartları gözetilerek yapılmıştır. Araştırılan fiziksel özellikler; donma-çözülme dayanımı, su emme, boşluk oranı ve birim ağırlık oranının belirlenmesidir. Numunelerdeki styropor oranının artması ile malzemenin birim ağırlığında azalma olurken, su emme ve boşluk oranında artma olmuştur. Donma-çözülme neticesinde numunelerde çatlamalar ve az miktarda da parçalanmalar olmuştur.
Abstract
In this study, the effect of styrofoam addition on the physical properties of the lightweigt concrete has been experimentaly investigated. The specimens were prepared with the addition of stryfoam amount decreasing 10, 20, 30 and 40% of the weight of the specimen, without reinforcement of styrofoam. The tests have been carried out according to the related TS standards. The investigated physical properties are the freezing and thawing strength and water logging and void ratio and specific weight of the concrete. The specific weight of material decreases on the conrtrary the water logging and void ratio increase with increasing the rates of streofoam. Some cracks and disruptions have been observed on the specimens upon to the tests of freezing and thawing of the specimens.
