Ciddi Komplikasyonlara Yol Açabilecek Bir Sendrom: Saç Turnike Sendromu

Özet

Saç turnike sendromu genellikle bebeklerde görülen nadir bir sendromdur. Özellikle ayak, el parmakları, penis, klitoris gibi vücudun farklı uzuvların- da meydana gelir ve doku kaybı gibi ciddi komplikasyonlara neden olabilir. Bazen tek semptom irritabilite olabileceğinden bu şikayetle getirilen infantlarda akla gelmelidir. Bu sunumda ani başlayan huzursuzluk ve ağlama şikayetiyle getirilen fizik muayenede sağ ayak 3. parmak distal falanksta hiperemi, şişlik ve saç teline bağlı turnike tespit edilen bir bebek vakayı irdelemeyi amaçladık.

Abstract

Hair tourniquet syndrome is rare. This syndrome may ocur in different parts of the body, particularly in toes, fingers, penis and clitoris. It can lead to serious complications such as tissue loss. Sometimes the only symptom may be irritability, so this should come to mind in infants brought with this complaint. In this presentation, we aimed to investigate a baby case whose right foot had a hyperemia, swelling and a tourniquet attached to the hair strand in the distal phalanx.
