Leibniz'de Siyasi Düşünce

Abstract

Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Hobbes ve Locke are the first names to remember among the great philosophers of Early Modern Age. The great philosophers of the age are at the same time the great political theorists. Though Descartes and Leibniz are considered to be the exceptations of this rule, when the Works of Leibniz are studied, it will be seen that he asserted significant views on political philosophy. His points especially on the roots and development of civilian society, justice problem, and the socio-political organization of society are very important. In this study, we aimed at introducing and giving way to discuss his aristocratic views put forward on the above mentioned problems of his political philosophy rather than discussing his competence aş a political philosopher.
