Okul öncesi eğitime devam eden 57-68 aylık çocukların okul kaygılarının incelenmesi*

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the level of school anxiety of 57-68 months old children who continue preschool education and whether this level differs significantly according to independent variables. In the research, relational scanning model that is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The population of the study consists of (N:561) children that are 57-68 months old and attend official independent kindergartens affiliated to MEB (Ministry of Education) in Diyarbakır's Ergani district in the 2019-2020 academic year and (N:33) teachers of these children. The sample of the study consists of 446 children that are 57-68 months old and selected by using the random sampling method, and their 33 teachers. "Demographic Information Form" prepared by the researcher and “School Anxiety Scale-Teacher Form” to measure school anxiety were used as data collection tools in the research. Descriptive statistics, independent t-Test, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were chosen and the SPSS statistics program was used for analyzes. As a result of the study, it was determined that the children included in the sample experiences low school anxiety. It was determined that there are significant differences between children's school anxiety and independent variables.
