Özet

Amaç:Hepatit B ön tanısı ile laboratuvara gönderilen örnekler üzerinde yapılan bu çalışmada, Hepatit B Virus (HBV) DNA pozitifliği tespit edilen hastaların serolojik testlerinin durumu ve hastanın o sırada tedavi alıp almadığı incelenmiştir. Gereç tie Yöntem: HBV DNA kantitatif olarak real time polimeraz zincir reaksiyon (PCR)' uyla, serolojik testler ise enzim immuno assay (E/A) yöntemiyle çalışılmıştır.

Abstract

with pre-diagnosis of hepatitis B virus infection were examined; serological markers and therapy situation of patients with HB V DNA positive were compared. Material and Methods: HBV DNA was investigated by quantitation of DNA using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and serological markers by enzyme immunoassay (EIA). Results: HBV DNA was positive in 86 (41 %) of the sera of 208 patients. The HBV DNA was detected in 74 (51 %)of 145 HBsAg positive patients, in 29 (80.5 %) of 36 HBeAg positive patients and in 49 (39.2%) of 125 antiHBe positive patients. Conclusion: It was concluded that in order to evaluate serologic markers of patients, HB V DNA positivity, other liver laboratory tests, treatment and clinical appearance should all be considered.
