Next-generation DNA sequencing technologies

Özet

Son zamanlarda, hızlı, düşük maliyetli ve son derece güvenilir metotlara gereksinim yeni nesil DNA sekanslama teknolojilerinin gelişimini tetiklemiştir. Sanger sekanslama metodundaki kısıtlamaları aşmanın yanı sıra, büyük ölçekli genetik veriler farklı analiz metotlarının geliştirilmesini sağlamıştır. Bu yazıda, yaygın olarak kullanılan yeni nesil sekanslama platformları, elde edilen verilerin analizleri ve bu teknolojilerin uygulamaları tartışılmaktadır.

Abstract

Recently, the requirement for fast, low-cost, and highly reliable methods has triggered the development of next-generation DNA sequencing technologies. In addition to overcoming the restrictions in Sanger sequencing methods, large-scale genetic data have provided the development of different analysis methods. In this paper, widely used next-generation sequencing platforms, the analyses of the data obtained, and the applications of these technologies are discussed.
