Uygulamaları açısından somut olmayan kültürel miras ve folklor

Özet

UNESCO Somut Olmayan Kültürel Mirasın Korunması Sözleşmesi (2003) ile birliktekullanıma giren somut olmayan kültürel miras terimi, daha çok folklor camiasında ilgiylekarşılanmış ancak Sözleşmenin uygulamaya geçirilme süreçlerinde görülmüştür ki somutolmayan kültürel miras ve folklor tam olarak aynı şey değildir. Sözleşmeyi uygulamaya geçirmekle yükümlü kişilerin daha çok folklor alanından olması, somut olmayan kültürel mirasve folklor arasındaki benzerlik ve farklılıkların ortaya konmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. Bunedenle makalede somut olmayan kültürel mirasın folklordan farkı, iki terim karşılaştırılarakortaya konmaktadır.

Abstract

After the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003)developed by UNESCO, the term intangible cultural heritage has came into use and waswarmly welcomed among mostly folklorists. However, during the implementation process ofthe convention, it has been recognized that intangible cultural heritage and folklore wereterms that do not overlap completely. Since mostly the folklorists take part in the implementation of this convention, it is necessary to reveal the similarities and the differences of thesetwo terms. For this reason, in this study the differences of intangible cultural heritage fromfolklore is discussed by comparing these two terms.
