Özet

Amiloidozis; amiloid adı verilen fibriler yapıdaki proteinin ekstraselüler ortamda anormal şekilde birikmesidir. Tanısı histopatolojik inceleme sonrası konulur. Amiloidozisin baş boyun tutulumu en sık larinkste gözlenmektedir. Bu hastada tanısı konulan AA tip amiloidoziste cilt tutulumu nadirdir. Bu yazıda AA tip amiloidozis tanısı konulan, dış kulak yolu ve nazal vestibülde cilt tutulumuna bağlı iletim tipi işitme kaybı ve burun tıkanıklığı şikayetleri ile başvuran 44 yaş erkek hasta sunuldu. Ayrıca amiloidozise bağlı perioral, periorbital bölgede ve oral kavitede yaygın tutulumları olan hasta ve hastaya yaklaşımımız literatür eşliğinde tartışıldı.

Abstract

Amyloidosis is an accumalation of an abnormal protein that is fibrillar in structure called amyloid in the extracellular environment.Diagnosis is made upon histopathological examination. Head and neck involvement of amyloidosis is most frequently observed in the larynx. Skin involvement is rare in such patients diagnosed with AA type amyloidosis.In this article, our approach to a 44-year-old male patient with AA type amyloidosis who present with conductive hearing loss and nasal obstruction complaints due to skin involvement of amyloidosis and also with amyloidosis related diffuse involvement in the perioral, periorbital and oral cavity is discussed and debated along with the literature.
