Sağ adrenal gland yerleşimli Schwannoma

Özet

Schwannoma, nöral krest hücrelerinden gelişen nadir görülen bir tümördür. Retroperitoneal yerleşimli Schwannoma olguları çok nadirdir. Hormon aktif olmayan, retroperitoneal ya da adrenal gland kökenli kitlesel lezyonlar değerlendirilirken Schwannoma da akla getirilmelidir. Spontan hemoraji ve dejenerasyon özelliği taşıması nedeniyle adrenal Schwannoma olgularına uygun cerrahi girişim gerçekleştirilmelidir. Bu yazıda, sağ adrenal gland yerleşimli Schwannoma saptadığımız olgumuzla ilgili klinik ve operatif verileri literatür bilgileri ışığında sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract

Schwannoma is a rare tumor, which is derived from neural crest. Retroperitoneum is not a usual place for schwannoma. During the preoperative evaluation process of the adrenal tumors, Schwannoma should be considered if the lesion do not secrete hormone. Surgery is a logical treatment strategy because Schwannoma could cause spontan hemorrhage and atypical degeneration. Hereby in the study, we want to present our case which is treated for right adrenal gland located Schwannoma with the guidance of literature data.
