Gnostik Bir Metin Olarak Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın Mezhebi Aidiyetine Dair Tartışmalar

Özet

Bu çalışma erken döneme ait olduğu iddia edilen Ümmü’l-Kitâb adlı eserin menşei ile ilgili tartışmaları konu al-maktadır. Amacımız bu eser hakkında çalışmalar yapmış olan araştırmacıla-rın tespitlerini ortaya koymak ve bu eserin kime ait olabileceği üzerine bir çözüm önerisi sunmaktır. Her bir araştırmacının farklı bir sonuca var-ması Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın aidiyetinin be-lirlenmesi konusunun ne kadar zor ol-duğunu göstermektedir. Bunun bir se-bebi, Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın bulunduğu 19. yüzyıla kadar hiçbir kaynakta bu esere ne bir atfın, ne de bundan bahseden herhangi bir bilginin mevcut olmama-sıdır. Diğer sebep de Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın içerik olarak bir bütünlük arz etmeme-sidir. Menşei ve hangi dönemde ka-leme alındığını ortaya koyabilmek için kitabın içinde bize aktarılan bilgiler çerçevesinde bir kanaat bildirmekten başka bir yol kalmamaktadır. Maka-lede araştırmacıların Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın menşei ile alakalı vardıkları farklı so-nuçlar ela alınıp analiz edildikten sonra bu hususta kendi kanaatimiz dile getirilmiştir. Bununla birlikte tüm muğlaklığa rağmen, Ümmü’l-Kitâb’ın Gnostik karakteri ve Gulât-ı Şia ile ili-şiklisi göz ardı edilmemelidir.

Abstract

This study deals with the discussions about the origin of the work called Üm-mü'l-Kitâb, which is claimed to belong to the early period. Our aim is to reveal the findings of the researchers who have worked on this work and to offer a solu-tion proposal on who this work may be-long to. The fact that each researcher comes to a different conclusion shows how difficult it is to determine the be-longing of Umm al-Kitab. One reason for this is that until the 19th century, when Umm al-Kitab was found, there was ne-ither a reference to this work nor any in-formation mentioning it. The other rea-son is that Umm al-Kitab does not pre-sent a wholeness in terms of content. In order to reveal the origin and the period in which it was written, there is no other way but to express an opinion within the framework of the information conve-yed to us in the book. In the article, after the different conclusions reached by the researchers regarding the origin of Umm al-Kitâb were analyzed, our opi-nion on this issue has been expressed. However, despite all the ambiguity, the Gnostic character of Umm al-Kitab and its relationship with the Extremist Shia should not be ignored.
