Koruma alanlarında yeni yönetim kategorileri ve önemi

Özet

Ekolojik dengenin korunması ve doğal kaynakların plansız insan müdahalelerine maruz kalmasının engellenmesi ancak hem ulusal hem de uluslararası ölçekte işbirliği yapılabilecek koruma alan sistemleri oluşturmakla sağlanabilir. Bu işbirliğinin kolay ve etkin olabilmesi için uluslararası ölçekte kabul edilen standartlara olabildiğince uyum sağlamak gerekir. IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) 1978 yılında ortaya koyduğu 10 kategorili sınıflamayı, günün koşulları doğrultusunda güncelleştirmiş ve 6 kategoriye indirmiştir. Çağdaş bir koruma alan yönetimi için, koruma alanının tesis amacına uygun ve çevredeki kullanımların da dikkate alındığı bir yönetim anlayışı gereklidir.

Abstract

To protect the ecological balance and prevention of naturel resources from the unplanned intervention of human-being is only possible establishing conservation areas with co-operation at the national and the international levels. In order to ensure easy and effective co-operation, it must be appropriate to global standarts accepted in this field. International Union for Conservation of Nature and Nature Resources (IUCN) have recently renewed its 10 category classification that established in 1978 and descented to 6 category system. For a contemporary management of conservation area, it is required an understanding of management which take care of the aim of establishment of such area and land use forms of surrounding areas.
