Kapadokya bölgesinde Simulium spp. (Diptera: Simuliidae) mücadelesi üzerinde araştırmalar

Özet
Kapadokya bölgesi Kızılırmak havzasında 2006-2007 yıllarında Simulium spp. (Diptera: Simuliidae) popülasyonunda büyük artış olmuştur. Bu çalışma Simulium salgınını önlemek, yanlış uygulamaların önüne geçmek ve etkin mücadele yöntemini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Simulium erginlerine karşı Deltamethrin, Dichlorvos, Cyfluthrin, Permethrin, Cyphenothrin, Cypermethrin, Pirimiphos-Methyl aktif maddesi içeren insektisitler; kişisel korunmaya yönelik kovucu etkili Deet (N, N-diethyl-meta- toluamide) ve larva mücadelesi için ise Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) içeren Aquabac XT ve Vectobac 12 AS ticari preparatları kullanılmıştır. Bti içeren larvasitlerden Aquabac XT ve Vectobac 12 AS'nin her ikisi de debisi 30 $m^ 3$/sn olan suda 100 mL/sn debili tanklardan 60 litre/10 dakika uygulanmasıyla %100 oranında etki elde edilmiştir. Ergin mücadelesi için denemeye alınan insektisitler ile kişisel korunmaya yönelik preparatların ise etkisiz oldukları belirlenmiştir.
Abstract
Simulium spp. (Diptera: Simuliidae) populations have been a big increase in the years 2006-2007 in the Kýzýlýrmak basin of Cappadocia region. This study was carried out to prevent the fly outbreaks and false applications, and determine the effective control method. The some applications to control of Simulium were carried out using the insecticides deltamethrin, dichlorvos, cyfluthrin, permethrin, cyphenothrin, cypermethrin, pirimiphos-methyl against adults, DEET (N, N-diethyl-meta-toluamide) for personal protection and biological preparations Aquabac XT and Vectobac 12 AS of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) against larvae. It was determined that Bti preparations showed 100% effect on the larvae when they are used at 60 liter/10 minutes from tank of 100mL/s in the river which has the discharge of 30 $m^ 3$/s. However, the insecticides and personal repellents did not have any effect against flies.
