KADIZÂDE MEHMED ARİF b. MEHMED ERZURUMÎ (Ö. 1173/1759)'NİN KELAMİ GÖRÜŞLERİ

Özet

Erzurum'da müderrislik ve müftülük yapmış bir âlim olan Kadızâde Mehmed Efendi, tevhit, cinler, insan fiilleri ve diğer birçok kelami meseleyi ele alan eserler yazmıştır. İtikadî görüşlerini mensubu olduğu Mâturîdî ekolünün genel ilkeleri çerçevesinde yorumlamıştır. Kadızâde Mehmed Efendi, halkın din alanında saygın konum olan müftülük görevini icra etmesi nedeniyle, birçok inanç meselelerini ele almış ve irdelemiştir. İslâm inançlarının doğru anlaşılması için emek sarf etmiş ve geleneksel bakış açısıyla, zamanındaki inanç problemlerine çözüm getirmeye gayret göstermiştir. Meselelere yaklaşımında ehlisünneti ön plana çıkardığı ve özellikle Mâturîdî anlayışı öncelediği görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Kadızâde'nin kelami görüşleri ve inanç konularına yaklaşımı incelenecektir.

Abstract

Kadızâde Mehmed Efendi who was a mufti and one of the most prominent scholars of Erzurum wrote works about tawhid -the unity and uniqueness of God as creator and sustainer of the universe-, jinn, human acts and a lot of matters in the field of Kalam. He interpreted his opinions within the frame of general principles of Maturidi School which he was a member of. As Muslim thinkers in the Islamic geography, He worked for the Islamic faiths to be understood correctly and spread on effort to find solutions to the problems of faith in his time. He brought to the forefront of sunni especially preceded Maturidite understanding. In this study, his approach to matters of faith, and Kalam will be examined entering into details of his opinions in the field of kalam.
