Abstract

Differences in efficacies of me-too registered preparates with methamidophos on M. persicae under laboratory conditions were examined and the specified amount of active ingredients was verified. Namely Agromön, Erkuron, Metakor, Metaron, Safa Tamanex and Tamaron were chosen for the study considering- their availability and the most sold products with Metamidophos as active ingredience in the market. The results of this study revealed that Agromon and Tamanex showed the weakest activity against M. persicae compared to the other products examined. The amounts of active ingredients of these products were about 14,11% and 15,53 % lower than that of indicated ones in their certificate. Moreover, the results of analyses of active ingredient were confirmed with results of biological tests. On the other hand the original product Tamaron which was randomly taken from market had 5,98 % less active ingredients than that of described in the chemical specification.
