Özet

Amaç: Restoratif materyallerin, fiziksel, mekanik, estetik ve kimyasal yapı bakımından diş dokusu ile benzerlik göstermesi, diş dokusuna yüksek uyum sağlaması ve uzun süre ağızda kalması istenilen en önemli özelliklerdir. Çalışmamızın amacı, yüzey örtücü uygulanan yüksek viskoziteli cam iyonomer siman ve kompomer restoratif materyallerin mikrosertlik değerleri arasındaki farkları incelemektir. Yöntem: Çalışmamızda kapsül formda yüksek viskoziteli cam iyonomer siman (Fuji IX GP Extra, GC, Belçika), kompomer (Dyract Extra, Dentsply, Almanya) ve iki farklı yüzey örtücü (Fuji G-Coat Plus, Fuji Varnish, GC, Belçika) kullanıldı. Vickers mikrosertlik testi 1. hafta, 1. ay ve 3. ay olmak üzere üç farklı zaman diliminde gerçekleştirildi. İstatiksel analiz olarak ANOVA, Tukey, Dunnett T3 ve Bonferroni testi uygulandı (p=0,05). Abstract

Objectives: Physical, esthetic, mechanical characteristics and chemical similarity, high compatibility with the dental hard tissues and long-lasting survival in the oral cavity are the requested characteristics of restorative materials. The aim of this was to evaluate the microhardness of surface coated high viscosity glass ionomer and compomer. Methods: In our study encapsulated high viscosity glass ionomer (Fuji IX GP Extra, GC, Belgium), compomer (Dyract Extra, Dentsply, Germany) and two surface coats(Fuji Varnish/ G-Coat Plus, GC, Belgium) were used. Microhardness test was done in the first week, first month and third month. Microhardness was statistically analyzed using ANOVA, Tukey, Dunnett T3 and Bonferroni tests(p=0,05).
