Özet

HepatitA ve immun trombositopeni beraberliği nadirdir ve çoğunlukla erişkinlerde görülür. 9.5 yaşındaki erkek çocukta hepatitA virüs infeksiyonunun belirtisi olarak gelişen ağır immun trombositopenik purpura tanımlandı. Trombositopenik purpura nadiren hepatit A ile beraber olmasına karşın bu hematolojik komplikasyon hepatitA'nın bir belirtisi olarak daha önceden tanımlanmamıştır.

Abstract

The association of hepatitis A and immune thrombocytopenic purpura is unusual and mostly seen in adults. We described a 9.5-year-old boy in whom severe immune thrombocytopenic purpura developed as the manifestation of acute hepatitis A virus infection. Thrombocytopenic purpura is rarely described in association with hepatitis A, but this hematologic complication has never been reported as a manifestation of hepatitis A in childhood period.
