Risk faktörleri içerisinde hamilelik sürecinde sorun yaşanmış olması, ayrı yatma sorunu, bakıcı değişikliği, başka korkuların eşlik etmesi, annenin endişeli olması, ebeveyn ayrılığı, ailedeki şiddetli geçimsizlik, ayrılma anksiyetesi, ailede psikolojik sorunlu üyenin varlığı, ailenin sosyo-kültürel etkinliklere katılımdaki yeter-sizliği, sorunun okul öncesi dönemde yaşanmış olması, olumsuz öğretmen tavrı, okulda şiddete maruz kalma, çocuğun kolay arkadaş edinememe ve sosyal etkinliklere katılamamanın etkili olduğu saptanmıştır.
Abstract
In this paper, risk factors thought to be responsible for the development of school phobia were studied. The group of study included 70 students, 34 girls and 36 boys, between the ages of 6-11. Into the normal group, 70 primary school students matching the group of experiment with their age, gender, and socio-economic status were taken. Forms questioning risk factors besides the demographic variables were filled in by interviewing the families of the children in the groups. Findings show that demographic parameters were not responsible for initiating school phobia. It has been determined that having problems during pregnancy, the problem of sleeping alone, change of the child minder, other fears, anxiety of the mother, separation of the parents, problems in the family, anxiety of separation, having a member in the family who has psychological problems, not participating social activities as a family, experiencing pre-school problems, bad behaviour of the teacher, violence at school, problem of making friends, and not participating social activities are the main risk factors.
